The project aims at enhancing productivity of biodiversity based production systems of rural farmers for improving livelihoods and their resilience to climate change; and enabling farming communities to assess, conserve, utilize, and secure access and control over their genetic resources through local capacity building and influencing to favorable policy changes
Key interventions: Participatory plant breeding, promotion of neglected and underutilized species, community seed banks, value addition of local products, and integration and promotion of animal genetic resources
