This project aims to minimize loss of lives and livelihoods by providing timely warning information and hence reducing flood vulnerability in the Hindu-Kush region, in particular in the Ganges (Brahmaputra – Meghna and Indus river basins) through sharing meteorological and flood data and information amongst six regional partner countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Nepal and Pakistan. |
